Description
This building started its history as the Brown Bakery and Saloon. Its second owner turned it into the Gauthier Boarding house which lasted for several years until it was acquired by the Casey Family and used as their home.
The last occupants of this building were Mabel Ovitt and her children who were raised here. Mrs. Ovitt had a store in the front of her home where she offered many precious stones and rocks for sale. Mabel was one of the last citizens of Bannack.
Today the building is part of Bannack State Park in Montana.

I love this in color too! Actually the colors are muted enough that they're almost sepia, but crisper. Beautiful shot! VF!!!
